Following the thrilling conclusion of the three VCT international leagues, teams will compete for a lucrative $1 million prize pool, making it an event that fans won’t want to miss.

VCT Masters Tokyo schedule and format

The highly anticipated VCT 2023 Masters Tokyo will showcase twelve elite teams representing EMEA, the Americas, the Pacific, and China. With a group stage spanning June 11-14, followed by thrilling double-elimination playoffs from June 16-25, fans and players will eagerly embrace this format. After the criticism surrounding VCT LOCK//IN’s single-elimination format, the tournament promises intense competition and excitement.

While Riot Games has not disclosed the specific format, the VCT 2023 Masters Tokyo is anticipated to adhere to the standard format. The league stage and playoffs are expected to consist of best-of-three series, with the grand final employing a best-of-five format. The playoffs stage is likely to feature a double-elimination bracket.

VCT Masters Tokyo tickets

As the event will take place in the presence of a live audience, Riot has shortlisted two venues so far for this mega event. The first venue is Tipstar Dome, an indoor sports arena located in Chiba, Japan. Located just three kilometers away from Tipstar Dome Chiba, Makuhari Messe is our second venue.

Fans can purchase tickets on the AXS website. It was available to purchase from April 8 onwards. Riot Games has categorized tickets into local and international to cater to fans worldwide. Local fans in Japan have the advantage of purchasing tickets for all days of the event, including the group stage and playoffs.
