VCT Masters Tokyo Tickets: when, where and how to buy

The 2023 VCT Masters, taking place in Japan’s capital in the presence of a live audience, is just around the corner. With this in mind, Riot has finally unveiled the details about the tickets. 

The upcoming VCT Masters Tokyo is set to showcase twelve top-tier teams from major regions across the world, including EMEA, Americas, Pacific, and China. These teams will compete fiercely to secure the coveted title, bringing them one step closer to the highly-anticipated VALORANT Champions 2023 event in Los Angeles, United States.

VCT Masters 2023 Tokyo venues

Riot has shortlisted two venues so far for this mega event. The first venue is Tipstar Dome, an indoor sports arena located in Chiba, Japan. It was opened in 2021 and is primarily used for baseball and softball events, concerts, as well as esports events. The facility boasts a retractable roof and seats up to 20,000 people, making it one of the largest indoor sports arenas in Japan.

Located just three kilometers away from Tipstar Dome Chiba, Makuhari Messe is our second venue. Opened in 1989, it is one of the largest exhibition centers in Japan. It has hosted many high-profile tournaments and competitions over the years, including the Tokyo Game Show in 2017 and RAGE 2019 SUMMER.

Where to Buy Tickets?

Fans will soon be able to purchase tickets on the AXS website. Riot Games has categorized tickets into local and international to cater to fans worldwide. Local fans in Japan have the advantage of purchasing tickets for all days of the event, including the group stage and playoffs.

However, international fans have limited options, and it appears that they can only buy tickets for the final two days of the tournament at the Makuhari Messe. Despite these limitations, fans worldwide are eagerly anticipating this event, and the tournament promises to be an exciting and unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

While the wait for the sale may be just two more days, it’s never too early to start preparing your wallets and budget so that you don’t miss out on the chance to witness some incredible Valorant action.

How to Buy Tickets?

Buying the tickets is a pretty much easy and quick process. Visit the AXS website and select either the domestic or international sales option. Once you’ve made your selection, choose the day of the tournament that you’d like to attend and pick your preferred section from the ticket map. After selecting your desired section, simply click “Checkout” to proceed with the payment process.

Although Riot has not yet released the official ticket prices for the upcoming Tokyo event, we can estimate them based on previous events. The kick-off event in Brazil had ticket prices ranging from $20 to $30, providing a rough idea of what fans can expect to pay for the Tokyo tournament.
