Team Secret has announced that they will be parting ways with their midlaner Michal “Nisha” Jankowski for the upcoming DPC season. This news came as a surprise to many fans as the team had found multiple successes with him during their time together.

Their success is reflected in multiple Major wins and 2 consecutive back to back top 3 finishes at The Internationals over the duration of more than 3 years of being together.

There were a lot of rumours surrounding the teams in Western Europe region going into the new DPC season however the region has been extremely silent until the final week of the roster shuffle. Nigma Galaxy were the first team to break the silence yesterday.

Promising prodigy.

Nisha first debuted on Team Secret back in 2018 to complete the Team Secret roster for the 2018-2019 DPC Season. Even though Team Secret displayed mixed results when he first joined the team, he quickly silenced the doubters by helping Team Secret qualify for The Kuala Lumpur Major and helping the team win the ESL One Hamburg and The Chongqing Major.

Marvelous Results

During the 2019-2020 DPC season, the team started to dominate the scene. Team Secret secured multiple Major wins and consistently secured a top place finish before going into The International 2019 as one of the favourites. However, they were eliminated by Team Liquid at The International 2019 and ended their run at Ti9 with a 4th place finish.

The team keeps on dominating the scene in their 2019-2020 DPC season, however due to the global pandemic, tournaments were switched to Online format. That didn’t stop Team Secret’s dominance as they officially broke the record for the 100 games best run by going 85-15 which was held for 7 years by Alliance.

Versatile Player

Going into the 2020-2021 DPC season, Nisha switched his role as midlaner to carry. Along with Team Secret, Nisha  secured his first top 3 finish at The International 2021 after getting eliminated by Team Spirit in the lower bracket finals. Going into the 2021-2022 DPC season, Nish reverted his role  back to midlane but Team Secret ran into multiple problems including health issues that could hold the team back from attending The International. Against all odds, Nisha along with Team Secret  managed to place their best Ti placement at The International 2022 where they got defeated by Tundra Esports at the grand finals.

Huge Potential

The International Champion and Team Secret captain Clement “Puppey” Ivanov, who is also a veteran commented about the departure of Nisha.

Nisha came into the professional scene back in 2017, it was Team Secret that saw the potential in him and gave him his chance to shine, Nisha seized this opportunity quite well.
