The competitive CS:GO scene has seen Virtus.pro, the current top team, out of the Paris Major.

The Russian team Virtus.pro recently lost to MOUZ in the European RMR tournament, as a result of which they have been knocked out of the Paris Major. This fact will go down in history and be remembered for many years, as it is the first time a champion team is out of the next edition.

Virtus.pro misses out on CS:GO Paris Major

For the entire CS:GO community, it was a negative surprise that Virtus.pro did not make it through the qualification stage for the Paris Major. The team will not be able to take part in the BLAST.TV Major after losing 1-3 in the European MRM.

Virtus.pro has not been able to become the Outsiders that was crowned champion and won the trophy in Rio de Janeiro in 2022. However, the team has achieved a record that no team would be proud to boast about.

Yesterday, April 8, the Russian team suffered a setback against MOUZ, which made the team sign its sentence of defeat and was out of what would be the last CS:GO Major. However, let’s remember that the BLAST.TV Major in Paris will be the last one where the title will be played since Valve will soon launch the new version of the CS2 game.

Virtus.pro will not be at the last CS:GO Major

Although it is not good news, the last CS:GO Major to be played is still leaving records. The team’s return with its polar bear jersey was not as expected.

Virtus.pro did not qualify to defend its championship title at the Paris Major, an event that no team would want to miss.

Now let’s talk briefly about what was happening with the team before being eliminated. First, through Virtus.pro’s social networks, the unexpected news was released that one of their players would no longer be part of the team.

Aleksandr “KaiR0N-” Anashkin was among the team’s best players; however, he was replaced by David “n0rb3r7” Danielyan. To keep the fans calm, the team has commented that young players have the power to adapt quickly to pressure situations in LAN tournaments. However, this change has brought nothing good for the team left out of the last Major.

The team led by Dzhami “Jame” Ali will not be able to win the title as they did last year under another jersey that was not theirs. No doubt, this is very sad news for all polar bear fans.

The RMR qualification has been tough for some teams like Virtus.pro. However, in Group A of the RMR Europe, some important teams like MOUZ, OG, and FaZe Clan are still fighting to get that special place in the Major.
