Acend’s superstar ‘cNed’ was offered a $1 million contract by Singapore-based Bleed esports. The Turkish sensation turned down the offer and will continue his esports career with Acend for the time being.

Mehmet ‘cNed’ Ipek, one of Valorant’s most skilled and overpowered players, was offered a whopping $1 million deal to join Bleed esports. In a recent tweet, Mercyn Goh, the founder of the Singapore-based organization Bleed esports, revealed the enormous million-dollar offer. However, the offer was politely declined by cNed’s brother, ‘deNc,’ who is also the manager of Acend esports.

According to a tweet, “deNc” appreciated the offer, but Acend’s team is currently being restructured, so it wasn’t a good fit. Although he declined the current offer, he kept the transfer window open for future transfers.

Acend made headlines after winning their first Valorant Championship title. It was rumored earlier this month that cNed would be moving to the North American Region. As soon as the rumors surfaced, several esports organizations began to vie for the Valorant’s legendary player, cNed.

Despite this, cNed chose to continue his career in esports with Acend in Europe. Though the offer was huge, it isn’t the first time an esports player has turned down a massive amount to remain with their team. Faker, an esports sensation and star of T1, was offered $20 Million a year to play in the Chinese region a few weeks earlier.

In a podcast, T1 CEO Joe Marsh revealed that a Chinese organization even gave Faker a $20 million a year contract and he turned the deal down. Additionally, he said that the mid laner isn’t fazed by money and won’t let that keep him from playing for a team he is passionate about.

Bleed esports already has two European Players in their Active Valorant roster.

Former G2 player ‘pyth’ and fellow Swedish player ‘maxie’ are two European stars currently signed to Bleed eSports. The two players encountered numerous challenges when entering the nation. Despite the challenges, they managed to compete with Bleed in the Asia Pacific region. The team was one series away from qualifying for the Valorant Champions Tour Stage 1 Masters, Reykjavik. However, they were defeated 2-1 in the lower bracket finals by Xerxia.

Acend also failed to qualify for Valorant Champions Tour Masters: Reykjavík. The inaugural Valorant champions didn’t even make it out of the Challengers series’ group stage.
