MLBB: Powerhouse APAC teams invited in ESL Snapdragon Pro Series Open Finals S5

16 top-caliber teams have been invited to play for Season 5 of the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series Open Finals for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

MPL Philippines’ TNC Pro Team, Minana EVOS and ONIC Philippines have gotten direct invites. TNC Pro Team has been eliminated from playoff contention in MPL Philippines Season 13, while ONIC Philippines and Minana EVOS are currently battling in the Season 13 playoffs.

Meanwhile, DEWA United Esports, Alter Ego, and EVOS Holy will represent Indonesia. DEWA United and Alter Ego are currently sitting at the last two spots of MPL Indonesia Season 13. EVOS Holy, meanwhile, has yet to finalize their rosters following the departure of most of their rosters to EVOS Glory.

Bleed Esports, HomeBois SG, and Vanguard Esports meanwhile will represent Singapore in the tournament. Bleed, HomeBois and Vanguard are also currently battling in the ongoing MPL Singapore Season 6.

Three teams from MPL Cambodia will also be taking part in the tournament: D-Roar Legends, Flash KH, and Team Max. Team Flash KH is currently second in the MPL Cambodia Season 6 standings, while D-Roar Legends is at third place. Team Max, meanwhile, had earlier been out of playoff contention.

Two teams, meanwhile, will represent Malaysia: TODAK and Team HAQ. TODAK is currently at third place in the ongoing MPL Malaysia Season 6, while Team HAQ is at 6th place in a ten-team field in the said region.

Rounding out the teams are the Burmese Ghouls from Myanmar, who will be expected to play again with an all-Burmese lineup following the departure of their Filipino imports in April.

Season 5’s tournament dates are yet to be officially announced.
