sk0R receives a BLAST.tv Paris Major sticker despite not playing the tournament

Since a few hours ago, capsules and stickers regarding all the teams and players participating in the last Major in the CS:GO era, the BLAST.tv Paris Major has been available in the Steam store. Although they arrived later than expected, all fans can now purchase stickers to stick on their favorite weapons.

However, as has happened before, Valve has made a mistake when publishing some of these stickers in the store. Mongolian player, Tengis “sk0R” Batyargala, a former IHC lineup player (currently TheMongolz), received a sticker even though he will not play in the tournament. In addition, the sticker is released in all its presentations and at different prices.

Valve adds sk0r’s Paris Major sticker even though he won’t play the tournament

As part of the usual sticker promotion that Valve releases for every major CS:GO event, the BLAST.tv Paris Major has been no exception. However, not everything is as would have been expected so far. In addition to the fact that they have taken a long time to release these stickers, they have made a mistake and introduced one about sk0R, who will not play in the tournament.

On the other hand, according to this user on Twitter, Valve used the same signature used in the IEM Rio Major 2022.

This “confusion” maybe because sk0R played the Paris Major RMR Asia qualifiers with IHC Esports and was one of the key pillars for the team to get a spot in the RMR Regionals.

However, shortly after, the player dropped out of the team’s starting lineup, which surprised the entire community and the team’s fans, as for many, sk0r was the best player in the lineup. In his place, the organization signed Chinguun “hasteka” Bayarmaa to complete the team that would later participate in the RMR in Asia.

In addition to great performances in the Asian RMR qualifiers, sk0r also gave a great show of level in both IEM Katowice and ESL Pro League S17.

Hasteka does not receive a Paris Major sticker

Consequently, hasteka, who has already played with the team for more than two months and, most importantly, played the RMR with the team, did not receive his sticker for the Paris Major. The Mongolian player is part of the TheMongolz (formerly IHC) team that will play in the Blast.tv Paris Major, but on Valve’s official website, they show sk0r in the team’s lineup.

This is not the first time Valve has made a mistake; remember that for the IEM Rio Major 2022, BIG had to make a last-minute change in their lineup, replacing Josef “faveN” Baumann with Elias “s1n” Stein. However, when posting the stickers, the player who received one was faveN, who did not participate in the tournament. While s1n, like hasteka for the Paris Major, did not receive one.

Now we will have to wait and see if Valve releases an update to TheMongolz stickers, just like they did with 9INE, which received a tweak after some criticism.
