16, meanwhile, were laid off. Among them are Agony, Blaze, Booya, CBass, Cizzorz, Faxuty, Flea, H1ghSky1, JSmooth, Kalei, Nate Hill, Nio, Proze, Santana, Sway, and Testy.

Blaze said in a YouTube video, “”I know that this may come as a massive shock to a lot of you guys. Um, maybe not so much, who knows?… I actually found out that I was going to leave FaZe, or get kicked from FaZe, I guess, two months ago. And when I first found out I was really really sad,” highlighting how he was informed of the decision in advance.

Replays, one of FaZe Clan’s members, was included on both lists, but later clarified in tweet that he is still part of FaZe Clan.

FaZe also announced they will field teams in 12 different esports, namely:  Apex Legends, Call of Duty (as Atlanta FaZe), Counter-Strike, ESL R1, FIFA Online 4, Fortnite, Halo, PUBG, PUBG Mobile, Rainbow Six Siege, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and TEKKEN.

FaZe also had Valorant and Rocket League teams in the past, but have exited both scenes as well.
