Orangutan X reveals its lineup for VCT Game Changers APAC Open 2

Through a statement on its Twitter account, Orangutan X revealed its VALORANT lineup for the VCT Game Changers APAC Open 2.

As we can see, the new team lineup has three new players and an assistant coach. These players are Elmarian “Erumaa” Haessel, Anrionel “Twirly” Cajanding, and Emily “Emi” Lauw. At the same time, the new assistant coach is SAB3R5k.

About Orangutan X

Orangutan X arrived on the VALORANT Game Changers competitive scene in the 2022 season, just before the start of Open 2. After excellent performances, the team finished in the top six of the table.

Then, the organization decided to make different changes to the roster for the 2023 season, as Swayambika “Sway” Sachhar, who was the team’s IGL, decided to dedicate herself entirely to content creation. However, the team managed to show a great level in the Open 1 of the 2023 season, but they lost in the grand final to Team SMG with a crushing score of 0-3. As a result, the organization decided to release Capricious and Zini, while Chloe “Chloettw” Wong is now the team’s substitute player.

About the new players

The three players that Orangutan X has decided to incorporate into its lineup are all well-known in the APAC GC scene. Twirly was one of Bren Victress’ mainstays in previous seasons. Erumaa, meanwhile, played with Bigg Scythe as a Sentinel and was one of the best on that team.

Finally, we have Emi, a player with experience in both the Game Changers scene and mixed teams. Something that can be very helpful if the team intends to dethrone the Team SMG super team.

Regarding the coaching staff, Orangutan X brought in Jaden “SAB3R5k” Bryant, the team’s new assistant coach. This coach has extensive experience in the scene, as he has been the Head Coach of teams such as Sovereign, Into The Breach Protocol, and CRWNsports.

The starting lineup for Orangutan X is as follows:

  • Neha “CaspeR” Sottany
  • Jefferlynne “Japips” Hernandez
  • Anrionel “Twirly” Cajanding
  • Elmarian “Erumaa” Haessel
  • Emily “Emi” Lauw
  • Asad “GuNNeR” Azam – Head Coach
  • Jaden “SAB3R5k” Bryant – Assistant Coach
