New information on Outlaw, the upcoming Valorant weapon, has been revealed in a new leak from Mike Valorant, one of the most reliable leakers.
While Riot Games regularly releases new agents, maps, and cosmetics for its gun collection, it has not dabbled with offering new weapons. But in October, a now-deleted Tweet for the Valorant Hero skin package accidentally revealed details of a forthcoming weapon, the Outlaw Sniper, which will be the first new weapon to be added to the game since its introduction in 2020.
Following months without any updates on the gun, a recent leak by well-known leaker Mike Valorant has provided fresh details on the impending sniper. The new sharpshooter will give some options for players throughout the early game rounds and eco rounds by filling the mid-point gap between the Marshal and the Operator.
New leaks on Valorant’s new gun Outlaw
According to recent reports, Outlaw will have two barrels and fire two shots simultaneously, just like Shorty. Half-armored players can be eliminated by the new weapon in one shot. It is said that each bullet deals 70 HP of damage, for a total of 140 HP of bodily damage. Furthermore, according to the leaks, Outlaw is anticipated to cause leg damage of 119 HP and headshot damage of 238 HP. In addition, it features a magazine capacity of two with ten reserves, a firing rate of 2.75 rounds per second, and an equip speed of 1.25 seconds.

Furthermore, Outlaw is expected to close the cost difference between the Operator and the Marshal. The latest leak indicates that the Outlaw can be purchased for 2,400 Credits, placing it between the two weapons. The leaker also revealed that the weapon’s non-animated skins will be available at release. These will resemble the weapon skins from Valorant’s Battle Pass, which include complex designs and accessible variations but lack finishers, VFX, and animation. With a scope on, the upcoming gun would be similarly accurate to Marshall’s, while without a scope it would be slightly less accurate than Marshall’s and better than Operator
The new Outlaw Sniper weapon will debut in Episode 8 Act 1, according to a recent tweet from ValorMike. Given the duration of the present Act, the weapon will be made available sometime on January 9. This indicates that Outlaw’s introduction will coincide with the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2024 season, changing the meta before the new season begins. Riot Games has not officially acknowledged the Outlaw sniper rifle despite numerous leaks, so readers should proceed with caution.
