The final phase of the EMEA Masters in its summer season is about to start, and the 8 best teams of the regular season will be present in the playoffs of the tournament. Remember that this tournament is one of the best tier 2 tournaments in the League of Legends competitive scene.

In addition, all the attention is focused on teams like Istanbul Wildcats, Karmine Corp, and Movistar Riders, who will try to be at the top of this tournament. However, after the Brackets draws in these playoffs, we have that the most benefited team was Movistar Riders since they are on the “good side” since they will face teams that, in theory, are not as complicated as KCorp and Istambul Wildcats.

Likewise, anything can happen in the competitive scene of League of Legends and Esports in general. As a result, we should enjoy every match we have in these playoffs from start to finish.

EMEA Masters Quarterfinals – Details

The EMEA Masters Quarterfinals in its summer season starts this Monday, August 28, in the afternoon (CEST), where we will have two great games that will define the first two semifinalists of the tournament. Finally, the Playoffs will be extended until September 8, 2023, when we will know the champion of the EMEA Masters Summer 2023 after playing the Grand Final match.

Format and teams

The format of the EMEA Masters Summer 2023 playoffs will be the same as used in the spring season, i.e., a single elimination bracket format. In addition, all matches, including the Grand Final, will be played in best-of-five (BO5), so we will have guaranteed excitement from start to finish in each series.

The single-elimination bracket format means the winning team advances to the next phase, and the loser is immediately eliminated from the tournament. As a result, teams have no margin for error on their way to becoming the EMEA Masters Summer 2023 champions.

On the other hand, the teams that qualified for the EMEA Masters Summers 2023 playoffs are as follows:

  • Team GO
  • SK Gaming Prime
  • Istanbul Wildcats
  • Karmine Corp
  • BK ROG Esports
  • Movistar Riders
  • Macko Esports
  • GTZ Esports

Match Schedule

As we mentioned, the EMEA Masters Summer 2023 playoffs will be played starting Monday, August 28, 2023, and run until September 8. However, everything will depend on the results of the quarterfinal matches, which are as follows:
