Boombl4 denies drug allegations with negative drug test

The drama between ex-Natus Vincere player Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhaylov and his ex-wife Angelika “LiQueen” Mikhailova continues. Following the drug abuse accusations by LiQueen, Boombl4 posted a tweet showing his clean drug test from the same day. 

The medical analysis shows no trails of drugs and alcohol usage by Boombl4, only nicotine, which is caused by smoking cigarettes.

Accusations against Boombl4

After the departure from the Ukrainian club due to “reputational risks”, the former NAVI captain announced his divorce and apologized for his wife’s attitude. Liqueen responded by publicly sharing fake photos of Boombl4 along with a video where he seemingly consumes a white powdery substance that LiQueen claimed to be mephedrone.

Moreover, on her Telegram channel, LiQueen accused her ex-husband of non-traditional sexual orientation, drug abuse, domestic violence, and other things that could potentially ruin his reputation. Boombl4 stated on Twitter that all information by LiQueen was fake and that he was filing a lawsuit for defamation against her.

To contradict the drug use accusation, Boombl4 decided to take the drug test on the same day as the controversial video surfaced on the internet. However, this didn’t stop the vicious circle between the couple. Apart from leaked media and accusations, LiQueen recently posted a porn video of herself on her free-access Telegram channel, seemingly aiming to further undermine Boombl4’s reputation. Of course, this has caused turbulent discussions in the community.

While LiQueen’s behaviour might have some effect on Boombl4’s reputation, it is likely to have a much greater impact on her six-year-old son from one of her former relationships.

s1mple says he warned Boombl4 

Many CIS content creators have expressed their opinions on the situation, including Boombl4’s former teammate Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, who shared that everyone tried to warn Boombl4 “not to mess with this woman”. Moreover, s1mple predicted that she might blackmail the Natus Vincere ex-captain. 

For now, Boombl4’s future career in esports stays unclear. There is hope among NAVI fans that he will return to the team since he divorced the main source of the “reputational risks”. However, at the same time, LiQueen continues to post controversial information that attracts attention to both, her and Boombl4.

Other major esports organizations won’t likely be pleased with such a bad PR, and so Boombl4 first needs to figure out issues in his personal life and commence the “path of purification” in order to conquer CS:GO pro scene again.
