On the eve of the start of VALORANT Challengers 2023: South Asia Split 1, one of the most popular esports organizations in India, Gods Reign, has announced the addition of Tixx and Autumn to close its VALORANT lineup.

With this, the organization is fully ready to take on the new tournament to give a quota for the coveted VCT Ascension Pacific.

Gods Reign announces its VALORANT lineup for the VCL South Asia Split 1

As mentioned, the Indian organization Gods Reign has completed its lineup with two Australian talents that are very well referenced in the VALORANT competitive scene, Nick “Tixx” Quinn and Kale “Autumn” Dunne.

Being one of the leading esports organizations in India, Gods Reign is one of those participating in the VCL South Asia Split 1 with a direct invite. In addition to the juicy prize pool of nearly $140,000, the teams will fight for a coveted spot in the upcoming VCT 2023: Pacific Ascension, which will be played at the end of 2023 and grants a berth to VCT 2024.

The lineup has little time to tune up, as the VCL South Asia Split 1 2023 will kick off next Saturday, March 18, 2023. Gods Reign is in Group A and shares it with:

  • Velocity Gaming
  • GodLike Esports
  • True Rippers Esports
  • MLT Esports

Gods Reign’s first match will be on Sunday, March 19, against Velocity Gaming at 14:30 CET.

The organizations moved quickly to close their lineups

NODWIN Gaming, organizers of VCL South Asia, revealed all the details regarding the tournament last March 16. Unfortunately, this gave the teams little time to resolve their entire roster situation.

While other teams already had their lineups set, Gods Reign had to make quick decisions to complete the team and at least two days to prepare for their first match.

Gods Reign’s lineup is as follows:

  • Vibhor “Vibhor” Vaid
  • Garvit “Ember” Nehra
  • Aman “Hoax” Yadav
  • Nick “tixx” Quinn
  • Kale “autumn” Dunne
  • Simar “psy” Sethi

Vibhor, Hoax, and Ember are the Indian representatives in the team, of which Vibhor and Ember have been part of the organization since last October when they arrived from Orangutan. On the other hand, Hoax played for Team Valor for the first part of 2022 before being let go and disappearing for a while.

Aussies arrive to give Gods Reign a twist

Both Autumn and Tixx arrive at the team’s lineup with the mission to bring a lot of game experience and thus try to grab that coveted Ascension League slot. Despite being only 21 years old, Autumn is a player with experience in the Challengers scene, having played in the Valorant Challengers League 2023: Oceania.

Tixx, on the other hand, is a relatively new player on the competitive scene, having only been part of one professional team in his career, BOBO.
