As there is still some time before the new season begins, let’s take a look at the best female Valorant players heading the VCT 2023 season.

Since its inception, esports has been dominated by male players, especially in top-tier tournaments and VALORANT was no exception. Riot changed that by introducing VCT Game Changers, a Valorant esports tournament that was exclusive to women and other marginalized genders. As more and more female and non-binary rosters continue to emerge, Game Changers expands into new regions.

The rate at which things have improved thus far is quite astounding and portrays a very positive future for female valorant players. A handful of rising players have already made an impact on the scene, and more are expected to do the same after the new season starts.

7. Ava ‘florescent’ Eugene

One of the youngest players in the region, florescent outperformed several of the top players in Valorant, who are highly skilled pros with a lot of esports experience. Florescent plays quite instinctively for someone her age, often taking the lead in dueling parts where she can display her accuracy and quick reflexes. Florescent has already displayed her skills in the VCT 2022: Game Changers North America Series 3 after being signed by Misfits Gaming.

6. Melanie “meL” Capone

MeL, the IGL of C9 White, consistently topped the leaderboard, outperforming the rest of her squad and players on any server she plays on. MeL has created an impeccable track record, guiding C9 White to victory in every North American VCT Game Changers series since its inception.

Her sole failure is a third-place showing in the Game Changers championship. MeL specializes in multiple roles, both individually and as a team leader thanks to her in-depth understanding of the game. Looking at the statistics, she had the highest KDA of 1.68 in the first North American Game Changers Series.

5. Julia “juliano” Kiran

Juliana is one of the few female esports professionals with a distinguished career and a long list of achievements. She became a household name in the female gaming community after winning numerous titles in CS:GO during her ten-year career, including three Intel Challenge Katowice championships and the DreamHack Showdown Valencia 2019.

The veteran player switched to Valorant, joining G2 Gozen as its primary dualist. Juliano is remarkably adaptable for a dualist main, playing Jett, Yoru, and Neon all in the one best-of-three series against Guild X in the VCT Game Changers championship match. Any player who can perform admirably in all dualists against a top-tier team is one to keep an eye on, and Juliano fits that description.

4. Kayla “flowerful” Horton

Shopify Rebellion has been gaining ground on Cloud9 White, which has long dominated the female valorant scene in North America. Kayla “flowerful” Horton was the driving force behind Shopify’s dominant performance.

Flowerful joined the squad in June 2021 and immediately made a name for herself as one of the top Chamber mains in North America. She posted consistent performances throughout the year that frequently see her hit 220+ average combat score with over 1.2 KD.

3. Michaela “mimi” Lintrup

After playing CS:GO with XSET females for years, Mimi transitioned to Valorant in 2020 and joined G2 Gozen. Given her adaptability and compatibility with a large agent pool, the veteran has emerged as G2 Gozen’s most valuable player. She won the first-ever Game Changers title with G2 as the team went unbeaten during the entire Berlin LAN event.

Mimi set the tempo of the games, regularly dropping over 20 kills and also assisting teammates in tough situations. After winning the world championship, Mimi, Petra “Petra” Stoker, and Juliano became the only three women to have won international titles in two different esports championships.

2. Bob “Bob” Tran

Bob, the highly skilled Australian player, joined the squad in July after Annie Dro, the team’s former initiator player, switched to a content creation role. Although Bob fell short of the fans’ hopes after failing to bring the Game Changers trophy to North America, she was successful in maintaining C9’s complete dominance in the region.

Bob helped the team win the second and third Challengers series with high-level Sova, Skye, and KAY/O gameplay. The focus will be on Bob and the other C9 members in 2023 as everyone waits to see if they can overcome G2 in an international competition.

1.Maryam “Mary” Maher

The majority of the female players on this list are from North America and Europe, but Maryam “Mary” Maher is one of the biggest names from the Middle East. The Bahraini player has consistently done well in North American online matches, but on LAN, she has a very different performance.

She is a versatile Sentinel who can play Chamber, Sova, and Sage, and her numbers over the past three months are impressive, leading the board with an average of 1.30 KDA and 240.3 ACS.
