Thorin explains how NaVi can return to the top

With NaVi’s recent elimination in the Legends Stage of the Paris Major, many in the community have taken it upon themselves to express their conclusions and make recommendations for the team to return to the top.

Duncan Thorin Shields, a popular CS:GO analyst, has expressed his “vision” for this team to return to the top of the competitive CS:GO scene. Moreover, he did it very specifically, so he likely has a lot of time to think about it.

Thorin explains his vision for NaVi to get back to the top

With the disappointing results NaVi has had this season, it is time for the organization to make some major changes. Thorin, a CS:GO analyst who has never minced words when it comes to making statements, whoever he likes, has given his vision in which, just by following five steps, NaVi could be back on top.

As we note, Thorin begins by emphasizing that NaVi must immediately part ways with Andriy “npl” Kuharsk. There is no doubt that the young NaVi player has not performed very well in the tournaments he has played since he has been in the team’s lineup. However, a lot of pressure can also be noticed from the player.

On the other hand, the analyst hails that NaVi must sign a fragger urgently. Furthermore, for Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyljev to display his full potential, he must have someone next to him to make things easier. Finally, Thorin thinks that a new IGL is needed in the team.

Underperformance of npl

Since the 17-year-old joined NaVi’s starting lineup at the end of 2022, he has failed to show his full potential. Currently, the player has a Rating of 0.99 according to HLTV and averages 0.67 kills per round. Undoubtedly, this average places him as an average player, and, to be in the lineup of such a powerful team, you can’t be that kind of player. As a result, Thorin refers to NaVi as needing a new fragger on the team.

On the other hand, Denis “electroNic” Sharipov took the reins of NaVi as IGL in mid-2022, and the team managed to take victory in the BLAST Premier: Spring Finals. However, the team has failed to reach the grand final in any other Tier-S tournament since then.
