After endless rumors about the possible incorporation of Sentinels into the LCS, an employee has come out to deny the rumors.

A few days ago, it was said that Sentinels was planning to expand its operations and was studying the possibility of joining the LCS. These rumors arose after the recent news that stated the departure of CLG and TSM.

The news claims that both organizations are in a financial crisis; therefore, the teams representing the organizations in the LoL competitive scene could leave the league.

However, according to information from The Esports Advocate, the rumors of possibly incorporating Sentinels are untrue.

Sentinels denies rumors about joining LCS

Under the condition of anonymity, one of Sentinels’ high-ranking employees has stated The Esports Advocate to dispel the rumors that have surfaced over the past few days.

The source claims that the organization is not contacting anyone from Riot Games or the TSM or CLG organizations about joining the North American LoL league.

Currently, the Sentinels organization is partnering with Riot Games in VALORANT esports, as a team from the organization participates in the Americas VTC league.

VALORANT’s Sentinels lineup is made up of a large number of very important players in the competitive scene, such as:

  • TenZ
  • paNcada
  • Sacy

In addition, one of the most famous VALORANT streamers lives in the Sentinels house; we are talking about Tarik, who is often responsible for organizing the biggest watch parties of VALORANT tournaments.

Also, let’s remember that Sentinels invests in VALORANT’s competitive scene and bets on esports lineups that compete in:

  • Halo Championship Series
  • Apex Legends Championship Series

On the other hand, returning to the topic of Sentinels rumors and its possible incorporation into the LCS, we can say that the beginning of the rumors arose when Talking TSM host Robert Hanes made public that the organization was consulting on the price of a place in the LCS.

TSM and CLG leaving the LCS

The news that the North American league’s most important and representative organizations, such as TSM and CLG, could leave the LCS has caused a great commotion within the competitive scene.

All this is due to the financial crisis that the organizations are currently experiencing; for example, TSM, after its main sponsor FTX declared bankruptcy, began to be affected and is experiencing financial difficulties.

On the other hand, we have CLG, which has experienced a wave of layoffs; even reports claim that the organization has put up its place in LCS for sale. In addition, they have already announced which organization will acquire CLG’s place; we are talking about NRG.
