Just as Disguised did a few days ago, Aurora Gaming recently signed one of the most successful EMEA Apex Legends lineups. As a result, the organization returns to the Apex Legends competitive scene after signing the former Fire Beavers lineup.

Undoubtedly, this is great news for players and fans alike, as we are seeing organizations once again interested in investing in the Apex Legends competitive scene. In addition, these teams will soon be fighting in the ALGS, so we may have a much more intense competition, considering that they are now playing under the banner of an organization.

Aurora Gaming announce its return to Apex Legends scene

In the last few hours, Aurora Gaming announced their return to the Apex Legends competitive scene after signing the former Fire Beavers lineup. As mentioned, this is one of the most successful lineups in the ALGS scene in EMEA.

Aurora Gaming’s lineup heading into the ALGS Championship 2023 looks as follows:

  • Kiryl “9impulse” Kostsiu – IGL
  • Lev “taskmast33r” Grigoriev
  • Svyatoslav “ojrein” Korochinsky
  • Nikita “clawz” Marchinsky – Head Coach

About Fire Beavers

The Fire Beavers lineup (now of Aurora Gaming) began its iteration in the Apex Legends competitive scene in the 2021 season, playing without an organization in the EMEA Pro League. After six months, the organization signed a sponsorship deal with ZETA DIVISION to play in the 2021/22 ALGS, a deal similar to the one they just signed with Aurora Gaming.

However, the team’s results were not as expected, and they left the organization last July 15, 2022.

After the end of the 2022 season, the team decided to renovate their lineup for the 2023 ALGS and signed clawz and ojrein. From that moment on, the team started to show a mind-blowing level of play, finishing in 4th place in the EMEA Pro League. However, the joy was short-lived, as the team had visa problems that prevented them from competing in international tournaments.

Recall that this lineup is Russian, and it is unsurprising that they were denied visas to attend international events after the Russian invasion of Ukraine. In addition, they are not the only ALGS teams that cannot attend international tournaments because of this political problem, as Team Empire could not attend the ALGS Championship 2022. Then, Alliance’s Effect did not receive any response to get a visa to participate in the Split 1 2023 playoffs. Finally, Aurora Gaming was unable to play the Split 1 playoffs and had problems in Split 2.

Fire Beavers recovers at the end of the 2023 season

Similarly, Fire Beavers recovered their rhythm and level of play in Split 2, as they managed to finish, once again, in fourth place in the table. Most importantly, however, the entire team earned a visa to play in the playoffs in London. As a result of their 17th-place finish in these playoffs, the team earned the necessary points to qualify for the 2023 ALGS Championship.

On the other hand, talking now about Aurora Gaming, we have that the team is part of Group A of the ALGS Championship 2023, which begins its action on September 6, 2023.
