After being eliminated from the Paris Major Asian RMR, Nikola “Lobanjica” Mijomanović has published a rather extensive message where he attacks BLAST for how these qualifiers were organized in the Asia-Pacific region.

First, let’s remember that these qualifiers had many problems from the first day. After many server problems, five of the six matches scheduled for the first day were suspended because they were up to five hours late. Furthermore, according to HLTV journalist Danish “Nohte” Allana, players could access the Internet in the middle of the matches, meaning that this could have been detrimental to the development of the matches.

Of all the players who participated in the RMRs, Lobanjica has decided to be the spokesperson to explain everything that has happened.

Lobanjica lashes out at BLAST for the “bad” organization of the RMR

Experienced Twisted Minds player Lobanjica posted a somewhat lengthy TwitLonger about everything that happened at the RMR Asia-Pacific.

Before going into details regarding BLAST, the 33-year-old clarified that MESA, the tournament organizers under BLAST’s guidelines, had been on their best behavior and were not to blame for anything. Moreover, the player even said that the MESA volunteers were unpaid and that his team paid them for their excellent treatment.

The experienced Twisted Minds player details that the teams did not have the necessary time to adjust personal game settings, and, in addition, he points out that, in the team’s practice sessions, the Head Coach did not have a computer. On the other hand, he also highlights that the computers used for each RMR game had Internet access.

Next, Lobanjica alleges that team/player security was extremely poor. For example, the player says that someone wanted to stab him, and they placed a security person who, according to the player, was 160cm tall and weighed 50kg.

Problems with computers

However, the player’s main thrust of this public complaint is that the practice and match computers were fatal. According to the player, the computers did not go above 200 fps.

Moreover, Lobanjica says that the tournament administrators, who were from BLAST, were annoying and rude and treated all the players badly. Furthermore, he adds that several players played the RMR with COVID-19, and all the admins completely ignored this.

Finally, the 33-year-old Montenegrin said he had not seen a worse organized tournament and hoped the Majors would not be the same way. It should be noted that Lobanjica has never participated in a CS:GO Major.

Community reaction

While it is true that many fans understand and support the points made by Lobanjica, unexpectedly, we reacted to an established professional player on the global CS:GO scene, Nikola “NiKo” Kovač.

The G2 Esports player responded to Lobanjica’s TwitLonger with a strong message. NiKo tells Lobanjica that this is his first time playing a top-level event in the CS:GO scene, and he cries.

However, we all know Lobanjica’s personality, and he didn’t sit still and immediately responded and hit back in a big way. The Twisted Minds player asked NiKo if he was paid to defend BLAST. He also mentioned that he gets paid to play at the top competitive level and loses to a second-tier team.

For now, this has ended here, as neither player continued to respond publicly on Twitter. However, this can likely be worked out between them through private communications.

BLAST has had a lot of criticism surrounding the organization of what will be the last Major in the CS:GO era. First, they showed some trophies that certainly did not please the fans. On the other hand, they made some changes to the HUD of the official streams that have not finished convincing the community. There is still time for BLAST to improve certain things, as the Paris Major doesn’t start for another three weeks.
