EVO 2023 details revealed

Fans of fighting video games are looking forward to a very intense 2023. As well as those who also appreciate the great esports competitions of this genre, where the best virtual fighters compete to prove who is the most skilled.

The Evolution Championship Series, also known as EVO, is the most important fighting event in the esports world, which will be held from August 4 to 6 at the well-known and popular Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

EVO 2023

EVO 2023 is fast approaching and will surely be one of the biggest and most exciting years in the competitive gaming scene. Every year, thousands of fighting game players gather in Las Vegas, Nevada, to battle it out for the title of “EVO champion.” This year, we expect even more anticipation and excitement for the event as the roster of games continues to grow and the tournament structure remains as competitive as ever.

For those who don’t know what we’re talking about, EVO (short for Evolution Championship Series) is the world’s premier fighting game tournament. It started in 2002 as a small gathering of gamers in a hotel ballroom, with only a handful of games. Since then, it has grown into one of the world’s most significant video game events.

Each year, the tournament is divided into several parts. The first is the main event, in which the best players worldwide compete for a grand prize. Then there are the side tournaments, which consist of smaller game-specific tournaments. Finally, the casual tournament allows casual players to compete and get a feel for the competitive scene.

Capcom is taking a gamble with Street Fighter 6

As we mentioned recently, Capcom announced the release of its new title, Street Fighter 6, which is scheduled for June 2023. Therefore, we are unsurprised that this game was included in the EVO 2023 list. In addition, an event was also announced where a $1,000,000 prize would be offered to the winner.
