Since the release of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, members of the community of this wonderful saga have been complaining about the brightness of the flashbang grenades. So, in Season 2 Reloaded, Raven Software has added the Inverted Flash feature to control this situation.

With this new setting, players who prefer it can activate it, and with it, they will be able to observe that now the flashes of the flashbang grenades will be in dark mode.

The inverted Flash setting comes to MW2 and Warzone 2 in Season 2 Reloaded

Last March 15 saw the release of the mid-season update that Activision has accustomed us to, Season 2 Reloaded. In addition to new content regarding a new multiplayer map, a new operator (which will arrive next March 21), and a new weapon, the Tempus Torrent, the developers included an adjustment that, without a doubt, maybe one of the most important in the game.

This is Inverted Flash; this setting reverses the screen color when a flashbang grenade explodes before you. In other words, if you activate this function, players will have a completely black screen instead of seeing a white screen with a lot of brightness, which does not affect the players’ sight.

This is, without a doubt, a feature that is very well received by the community since now flashbang grenades will be less harmful to players’ eyes.

How to activate Inverted Flash in MW2 and Warzone 2

With the arrival of Season 2 Reloaded, players can activate the Inverted Flash setting, undoubtedly a quality-of-life boost for fans. To put it more bluntly, this set comes as the game’s dark mode of flashbang grenades.

Now, to activate this setting, you must do the following:

  • Open the game on any of the platforms
  • Go to the “Settings” menu at the top right of the main menu. Then, in the drop-down menu on the left side, select the “Interface” option.
  • Look for the “Inverted Flash” option and activate it.
  • And that’s it!

The developers bring this new setting with the mission that the flashes of the flash do not affect the eyes of the players. As we all know, this tactical equipment is one of the most used in the game, and we will always have to deal with blindness in the games.

With this, Activision shows that its priority in each update is the quality of life inside and outside the game for all players. Our eyes benefit greatly from the fact that when a flash is thrown at us in a game, we do not have to see the white and extremely brilliant screen; instead, everything appears to be black.
