Gekko: VALORANT’s 22nd agent

Last Saturday, most of the VALORANT community focused on the VCT LOCK IN Sao Paulo Grand Final. However, it was almost impossible to miss the definition of the champion title between LOUD and Fnatic in the first international event of 2023; Riot Games added a layer of intrigue to make it much more exciting and attract the attention of many more people.

Taking advantage of the occasion, VALORANT and Riot Games unveiled Gekko, the new agent joining the game very soon. Gekko grabbed the attention in the same way that he tried to dominate the games.

Agent 22 is already with us; we bring you all the information we know. Read on, so you don’t miss a detail about the new agent.

About Gekko

Gekko arrives from Los Angeles, leading a small group of creatures that will be vital to your actions in Riot Games’ shooter. Agent number 22, Gekko, is the new initiator of VALORANT and will fulfill his role in the game with a skill kit focused on these little creatures.

[Q] Wingman

To reveal his opponents, SHOOT sends Wingman forward. Wingman will jump and throw a cone that will shock enemies if it discovers an enemy. SECONDARY SHOOT to launch Wingman towards a site to plant the Spike (You must have the Spike) or disable the Spike. Wingman can be destroyed while planting or deactivating the Spike. When Wingman expires, he becomes a blob that can be picked up to recover his cooldown partially.

[E] Dizzy

SHOT launches Dizzy into the air. Dizzy fires a blinding beam at enemies within his field of view. When Dizzy expires, he becomes a blob that can be lifted to recover his cooldown partially.

[C] Mosh Pit

FIRE to throw Mosh like a grenade or SECONDARY FIRE to throw him underneath. When Mosh falls to the ground, it doubles in size to create an area that will damage enemies that step on it, potentially causing lethal damage in its entirety.

[X] Trash

FIRE to launch and direct Trash. While in the ultimate, you can FIRE to lunge forward and explode, stopping any enemy within range. When Trash expires, he becomes a blob that can be picked up to recover his cooldown partially. Trash can be reused only once.

When will Gekko arrive in the game?

In episode 6, Act II of VALORANT, Gekko first appears in the game. As usual with Riot Games and VALORANT, the new agent will have a special event where influencers, content creators, and journalists from the scene will have early access to test Gekko.
