After some teams could not qualify for the BLAST.tv Paris Major Europe RMR, there are already the first changes to the lineups of the teams.

Endpoint firmly secures Frederik “Fessor” Sørensen to the main roster, who has been with the team as a substitute since mid-February. Nakama will part ways with Edouard “SmithZz” Dubourdeaux and Paul “day0s” Niel, down to just three players in less than two months. But it gets even wilder at Anonymo, because the team has completely disbanded!

Endpoint announces signing of Fessor

Fessor has signed a deal with Endpoint, the British esports organization has announced. The Dane is now a permanent addition to the lineup, having previously been with the team as a substitute since Guy “NertZ” Iluz joined ENCE on February 16.

Fessor joins Endpoint having played for Astralis Talent and Monte for the past 12 months. The 22-year-old was a formidable player during his time on the Academy Team, averaging a 1.13 rating across 112 maps – 0.12 points higher than Victor “vigg0” Bisgaard, who was closest to him before he left the roster in August.

As a substitute for Endpoint, Fessor supported the team in the two unsuccessful qualifiers for the BLAST.tv Paris Major Europe RMR Open. The team also took part in a handful of other online tournaments with the Dane, including the European Development Championship 7, Elisa Invitational Winter 2023, and BetBoom Playlist Urbanistic 2023. Endpoint’s lineup is:

  • Max “MiGHTYMAX” Heath
  • Kia “Surreal” Mann
  • Milosz “mhL” Knasiak
  • Nikita “HeavyGod” Martynenko
  • Frederik “Fessor” Sørensen
  • Allan “Rejin” Petersen (Coach)

Nakama parted ways with SmithZz and day0s

SmithZz and day0s are no longer part of Nakama’s main lineup, the team has announced. The French team only existed for a little over a month before the first roster changes took place after failing to qualify for the BLAST.tv Paris Major Europe RMR in early February.

SmithZz was never planned to be a permanent player for the team, as he explained during Nakama’s announcement stream. Instead, he wanted to bring more experience and his IGL skills to the team before stepping into a managerial role. day0s, on the other hand, could not prove himself and will leave the main roster because his performance was not good enough.

Nakamas Lineup:

  • Richard “Shox” Papillon
  • Jeremy “Courses” Gast
  • Ryan “Neityu” Aubry
  • Boris “flex0r” Latry (Coach)

Anonymo dissolves

Anonymo players have split from the organization and are now going their separate ways. The org announced the decision on Monday, with Grzegorz “SZPERO” Dziamałek and Paweł “innocent” Mocek sharing more details in their Twitlonger post shortly after the initial announcement.

The core of the Polish team has been together for just over a year, while innocent has by far spent the longest time under the organization’s banner at just over two years. In that span of time, the team has competed in many online tournaments and attended three notable offline events. It took the title at the 2021 Gdansk Games, narrowly missing out on qualifying for the PGL Major Antwerp via the Europe RMR.

SZPERO commented:

“I joined the team at a very difficult time but I knew what I was getting into. The goal was to improve our game and be ready for [the] RMR and then decide what to do next. We played this tournament better than anything else, but we were in no way satisfied with our performance.”

“Apart from that, there were other factors, like the departure from the coaching staff. The only thing I can write is that, despite the less than ideal results, I enjoyed playing with the boys, which I haven’t experienced lately. I could trust them all completely and they’re just great buddies.”

Former Anonymo roster:

  • Pawel “unschuldig” Mocek.
  • Patrick “Demho” Tomaszewski
  • Arek “Vegi” Nawojski
  • Lukasz “mwlky” Pachucki
  • Grzegorz “SZPERO” Dziamałek
  • Adrian “imd” Pieper (Coach)
