Valorant: All you need to know about Omen

In Valorant, 20 agents with specific abilities are potent as long as you know how to use them ideally. But the most important thing is to know precisely what powers your favorite agent has.

Omen

Valorant’s Grim Reaper, chances are if you’re listening, is already behind you, Omen. Like its relative Brimstone, its design is effortless, but few agents match its low-skill barrier. However, Omen’s expression skill is one of the deadliest in the game when mastered.

Omen was one of the first agents in Riot Games’ tactical shooter Valorant family. We’ve been dealing with his ghoulish voices since the game’s beta version, and he was one of the first definers in the game’s meta in its early days.

Omen Skills

Like each of the 20 agents in the game, Omen has four abilities, two that can be purchased, one signature ability that recharges each round, and one ultimate.

Omen’s first ability is Shrouded Step, which allows players to select a nearby point and teleport there through a brief channeling.

Then we have the Paranoia ability, which causes Omen to have a blinding orb. Using this ability, Omen launches a projectile that causes a Nearsight to any player it touches.

This agent’s signature ability is Dark Cover, which causes Omen to enter a shadowy realm so that he selects an area to place the cover. He has two charges and gains one at the beginning of each round if he has none. The second charge can be purchased, and Dark Cover regains the charge after the cooldown.

Finally, his ultimate ability is From the Shadows. Equipped with a tactical map, he selects a location to channel teleport anywhere on the map.

Omen’s playstyle

Omen’s primary role in the game is that of a controller, and he is a highly aggressive agent. However, if you know how to handle him with confidence and fun sense, you will have the key to getting the most out of his abilities.

His abilities allow him to play with his teammates or alone.

Omen ideal team

The team must have a breakneck pace to get the most out of Omen. This is why agents like Jett, Raze, and Neon can be the perfect allies for Omen when using Paranoia.

Omen can be used on almost any map in the game, thanks to its flexibility, except for Breeze.

First of all, you should know that Paranoia is one of the most powerful skills in the game since it is the only flash that cannot be dodged in Valorant.

From the Shadows is one of the most underrated ultimates in the game. It often gets the misconception of the weakest ultimate ability but allows for great cerebral moves and rotations. With this ability, Omen ambushes rotators and causes chaos.

Finally, From the Shadows can be used as a scouting tool to gain information and steal the Spike. However, Omen is a true master of flexibility, so the potential of this agent will be as limited as the player who uses it.
