Tenz Issues Apology for unfinished Selling $200 Mouse

Sentinels’ VALORANT player TenZ has issued an apology for the pre-order campaign of his TenZ Secret Mouse, which was launched on his website on Nov. 27. The mouse was priced at €179, or roughly $196, and had no finalized shape, specs, or weight. TenZ acknowledged that the campaign was “super ambitious” and that it was a “stretch to attempt to sell a mouse that had no finalized shape, specs, or weight.”

TenZ’s apology post also attempted to clarify that the mouse project was not a “quick cash grab” and that the mouse is still being developed. He also froze any future pre-orders and offered those who have already pre-ordered a choice between a full refund or keeping the purchase. The apology post included a “super early prototype” of the mouse’s shape, which was posted on Twitter.
