There is no doubt that enerii is a spectacular reinforcement for this lineup, coming off good results this season.
Enerii is a player who has shown great potential and level of play in the last two seasons playing under the banner of Alter Ego Celeste in APAC. Thanks to this player, the team managed to lift the trophy in all VALORANT Game Changers events played in 2022. However, the team lost in the VCT GC Elite 2022 grand final to X10 Esports and were left out of the VCT Game Changers played in Berlin at the end of 2022.
A clean slate for enerii
Enerii is coming off an extended break from the VALORANT Game Changers competitive scene. After the team failed to qualify for the main event in Berlin, the organization let all players go except for enerii. However, in February 18, she was released from the organization.
Due to all this, enerii could not participate in the VCT GC APAC Open 1. However, she is now back on the scene and under the name of a team with a lineup full of top players. The Indonesian superstar will replace Ryona “Tara” Tan, who leaves the team’s active lineup and moves to the bench.
Team SMG demonstrate its power in 2023
In addition to joining a squad of excellent players, enerii joins the reigning Open 1 champion team, which crushed all its opponents without losing a single map. Team SMG played 23 maps and won all 23 to win the tournament champions trophy.
With the addition of enerii to the lineup, Team SMG are even more favored to qualify for the next VALORANT Game Changers international event in Sao Paulo in a few months.
Now, Team SMG’s lineup is as follows:
- Odella “enerii” Abraham
- Abigail “Kohaibi” Kong
- Alexandria “Alexy” Francisco
- Kelly “Shirazi” Jaudian
- Camille “Kamiyu” Enriquez
- Alex “falfalfal” Cheang – Head Coach
