Mathieu “Maniac” Quiquerez has teamed up with his lifelong friend, Guillaume Jolidon, to create a company that aims to help aspiring Counter-Strike professionals improve their skills and get to the next level. Its name is Life Mind Games.
Based on his announcement, we can tell that he intends to take care primarily of the tactical side of the coaching while Guillaume will be the sports psychologist.
This collaboration has the potential to become something important in CS:GO and the upcoming Source 2, simply because Maniac is a famous analyst who frequently gets invited to top events.
About Maniac
He is a 32-year-old from Switzerland. As a player, he’s been around since 2007 and played the game for around 12 years. After that, he became a coach and an analyst, a profession he still practices today.
In his Twitter announcement, Maniac clearly stated that he intends to continue to be an analyst as his main occupation. Life Mind Games will be a side project for now.
If there was any doubt, Broadcast Talent will remain my main activity and priority. I love it way too much to let it go.
Life Mind Games is a side project dear to us, which is why we will limit the amount of space, in order to have the ressources to properly support you ❤️

The hourly price charged by Maniac will be 120 Euros. This is not a small fee, but for someone who is already a Global Elite and wants to become a top professional, it’s probably worth it.
Being coached by one of the best analysts in CS:GO guarantees a clear path to self-improvement. When you train on your own, it’s hard to figure out what the best practices are and what you’re still missing.
The difference between a top-tier professional and a casual Global Elite is usually huge. The former has all the experience of big tournaments and knows exactly what he needs to do to stay at the top. The latter can’t figure out what he needs to work on to remove the flaws in his game.
That’s where a great analyst can help. Of course, it’s a bit of a gamble because it’s not cheap to be coached by top people. But if you end up improving to the point where you get hired by an important team, the salary from the first several months will completely compensate for the coaching sessions.
In his announcement, Maniac clearly stated that together with his friend, he intends to help people improve not only their technical and tactical skills, but also their attitude and mental skills. This makes perfect sense because a huge part of winning in esports has to do with mental strength.
