According to recent reports, talented CS:GO professional Nabil “Nivera” Benrlitom is close to joining Team Liquid’s VALORANT team, in a move that would see him link up with brother Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom. Nivera currently finds himself on Team Vitality’s bench, however talks are believed to be at an advanced stage for the Belgian-Moroccan to become the latest pro to move from CS:GO to VALORANT.

An official announcement could well follow the VALORANT Champions Tour Masters Reykjavik, with just a few minor issues to be worked out. Team Liquid has already made one roster change this year, with the European team having signed Elias “Jamppi” Olkkonen to replace the departed Adam “ec1s” Eccles back in February.

Why Team Liquid Are Making Roster Changes

Despite winning the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021 EMEA Stage Two: Challengers Finals, qualifying for the Masters Reykjavik in the process, Team Liquid are seemingly still not happy with their roster, ahead of the opening global VALORANT LAN event.

Nivera became Vitality’s sixth man when he joined the org in October last year, having had an almost instant impact on the team. With Nivera on board, Vitality won the BLAST Premier Fall Finals, beating Astralis, before their success at the IEM Beijing Europe, where they overcame Natus Vincere. However, with Valve having handed out penalties to those benching players during the Regional Major Ranking (RMR) circuit, he was moved to the Vitality bench in March.

Who Will Nivera Replace at Team Liquid

It remains to be seen as to who Nivera would replace on the Team Liquid roster. One thing is for sure is that it will not be his brother ScreaM, who has made a name for himself as one of the leading VALORANT players in the world. Nivera made his professional CS:GO debut with Legends in 2019, before moving to the likes of Warthox Esport, WonderKids and Team Heretics.

The remainder of the Team Liquid VALORANT roster is made up by Dom “soulcas” Sulcas, James “Kryptix” Affleck, Travis “L1NK” Mendoza and Jamppi.
