After more than two weeks without a third player in their lineup, the North American organization, Sentinels, announced the signing of Angello “Xenial” Cadenas for the remainder of the 2023 ALGS season.

Sentinels spent several days looking for a player who could fill the void left by Beau “RamBeau” Sheidy when he announced his retirement two weeks ago. However, the player surprised everyone by returning to the competitive scene to play under the banner of one of the most successful teams in Apex Legends’ history, DarkZero.

Now, Sentinels, with their full lineup, will have to prove that they are still at a great level and that RamBeau’s departure will not affect the team’s performance at all.

Sentinels announces the signing of Xenial

After RamBeau’s retirement, the Sentinels began looking for a player to fill the shoes of such an iconic player. As we know, Sentinels is a very active organization in terms of signings, and they have shown that they are not resting on their laurels as a few hours ago, they announced that Xenial would be their third player on the roster for the rest of the season.

While Sentinels is one of North America’s most popular organizations, they had some problems in their Apex division at the beginning of the year. Nicholas “Crust” Kell and Adam “senoxe” Lau, two of the most veteran players on the scene who had several years in the organization, decided to leave the team on January 23, 2023.

Then, after almost two months without a lineup, the organization announced a roster that promised a lot, as it had two very talented players such as Cole “Rkn” Prommel and Keon “Keon” Berghout, and the experienced RamBeau.

However, just 18 days after this news, RamBeau suddenly announced his retirement from the Apex Legends scene. This news threw many in the organization out of whack, as the team seemed to be very well formed and composed heading into the 2023 season.

With that, Sentinels had to go back to the market to look for a player to replace RamBeau, and, most worryingly, it was all in the middle of the ALGS Pro League Split 2. However, a few hours ago, the organization announced that Xenial would be the third player in the squad.

About Xenial

Before joining Sentinels, we can say that Xenial gained much experience within the Apex competitive scene. The 22-year-old has been playing as a pro since 2020 when he started his career with RCO eSports White. Then, he took a big leap when he joined Spacestation Gaming, a team he belonged to for two years and had very good results. Recall that this team finished in sixth place in the ALGS Championship 2022.

In early March 2023, Xenial decided to leave what was his home for two years to join Oxygen Esports, a team with which he was only with for a month before signing for Sentinels.

Sentinels hopes that Xenial can help the team become a dominant force at the top competitive level of the Apex scene. In addition, the season is underway, so we can enjoy this new lineup in a few days.
