A little over two weeks after Beau “RamBeau” Sheidy announced his retirement from the Apex Legends competitive scene, the player has decided to come out of retirement to play with DarkZero for the rest of the ALGS Pro League.

There is no doubt that this type of situation is very rare to happen, at least in a two-week time frame. Most veteran players who make this decision have a long time to think about it, and if they return, they usually do so after a few months or even a year. However, RamBeau’s retirement only lasted a little over two weeks, and he will now play under the DarkZero banner for the remainder of the Pro League.

RamBeau will play with DarkZero for the remainder of the Pro League

The 26-year-old experienced player confirmed via a Twitlonger on his Twitter account that he will play for DarkZero for the remainder of the Pro League.

DarkZero is undoubtedly one of the most successful teams in the competitive scene of Apex Legends. The Australian outfit has won the championship trophy in two consecutive LAN events. In addition, this is the first change in the team’s lineup since they have been part of the ALGS North American circuit.

As he explained when announcing his retirement, RamBeau had planned to retire from the scene for a long time. In addition, the player explains in the official statement that he went through different complicated situations in his personal life and wanted to be with his mother in those moments.

On the other hand, the player claims he had no plans to return to the Apex Legends scene. Moreover, he also mentioned that he would play just for fun, as he wanted to take care of personal matters. On the other hand, RamBeau said that he had not spoken to DarkZero or any other team before announcing his retirement.

DarkZero’s offer was too good to turn down

After many rumors through Reddit of RamBeau’s return to the scene with DarkZero, the player confirmed that he had spoken to the organization and that the offer was so good that there was no way to turn it down. In addition, the player also mentioned that he spoke to his mother at the time, and they agreed that it was stupid not to accept the offer.

RamBeau said it is complicated to say no to the two-time LAN champions. Besides, he believes he is still one of the best players in the world, and as long as he can continue to generate money and play, he will continue to do so.

The addition of RamBeau to the DarkZero lineup only means that one of the players will have to leave, and the chosen one is Rick “Sharky” Wirth. Likewise, nothing is yet certain regarding the team’s future, RamBeau, and Sharky himself. The first thing the 26-year-old veteran explained on Twitlonger is that he doesn’t know when he will play, and there is no official information regarding whether Sharky is taking a break or leaving the team.

RamBeau joins DarkZero at the best of times

RamBeau joins DarkZero’s lineup at a phenomenal time, as the team is in a great spot in the ALGS Pro League. The team is currently in fifth place in the table, but they are comfortably inside the TOP 10, which qualifies for the playoffs in LAN. Also, it is worth noting that DarkZero has one less game played than some of the teams above them in the table.

If the team gets a good result in the match, they will play on Sunday; they could even climb to the second position in the table.
