NAVI have made a number of changes to their Rainbow Six Siege roster ahead of Stage 2 of the European League, hoping to improve on their 8th-place finish in Stage 1.

The team released in-game leader Rickard “Secretly” Olofsson and Performance Manager Youenn “Chicken” Rocaboy. In their places, NAVI added Jamie “Skiddy” Diamond to the player roster and added Alonso “al0kaka” Díez to the coaching staff.

Rainbow Six changes for NAVI

NAVI have not had the best start to 2022. After a strong showing in 2021, including winning the European League Stage 1, the team failed to make it out of groups at the Six Invitational 2022 before finishing eighth in the first Stage of the 2022 season itself.

As they look to regain their standing as a contender in the European scene, the team has made some significant changes to the roster. Secretly had been with the team since March 2021, playing a pivotal role in their success throughout the past year. However, he has now been replaced with Skiddy, who comes to NAVI from MnM Academy. Al0kaka, also known as “Alo” was signed as a free agent after leaving Rebels Gaming in February. Alo’s biggest success as a coach came in July 2021, coaching Wizards Esports Club to the Spanish regional title.

In the statement announcing the roster changes, NAVI revealed that the new team was already at their training facility in Warsaw and preparing for the European League Stage 2.

Fans will be eagerly awaiting the start of the next phase of the European League to see if NAVI can turn their season around and qualify for the next Six Major, set to take place in August.
