Liquid overcome G2 to kick off their journey
Liquid got the series off to a strong start by outplaying the fourth-ranked team in the globe on Ancient with their firepower and excellent teamwork. Liquid’s Robert “Patsi” Isyanov was the driving force in their spirited 16-9 victory, tallying 20 kills with a HLTV rating of 1.44.

Both teams fought valiantly on Mirage to gain the upper hand, but their efforts were in vain as the score stayed level at the end of regulation, necessitating overtime. Nikola “NiKo” Kovač stepped in for G2 in overtime, helping the team secure a 19-17 victory and equalize the series 1-1. In the series finale Vertigo, Keith “NAF” Markovic amassed 27 kills to lead his team to a valiant 16-14 victory, overshadowing NiKo’s dominating display for G2.
Vitality continue their winning way with a victory over Complexity
Vitaliy destroyed the North American squad in the first game of the series, Inferno, leading to a lopsided victory with just one round lost. Lotan “Spinx” Giladi stood out for Vitality with his 23-kills performance, providing enough firepower to propel Vitality to a convincing 16-1 victory.

Vitality carried their momentum into Vertigo, crushing the North American team’s defense to its core and establishing a massive 12:3 lead. Although the revamped roster of Complexity picked up some steam in the second half, the Paris Major Champions came back and punched a 16-6 victory. With this victory, Vitality moves to the group stage’s grand final, where they wait for the winner of the match between Complexity and NIP.
NIP hand EG their second consecutive defeat
NIG and EG engaged in a back-and-forth battle on the series’ opening map Inferno, keeping the score close throughout the game. The second half saw EG finally break the tie, cruising to a commanding 14-9 lead thanks to outstanding play from Jadan “HexT” Postma and Timothy “autimatic” Ta.
With the help of Daniil “headtr1ck” Valitov’s remarkable fragging abilities, NIP swiftly responded with a more aggressive play, drawing the game at 15-15 before winning 22-20 in overtime. After narrowly losing the first map, EG got off to a fantastic start on Vertigo and quickly took a 6-0 lead.
