List of new League of Legends Star Guardian skins

The wait for all Sailor Moon fans is almost over! The new collection of Star Guardian League of Legends skins will be released on Thursday, July 14 and we finally know which champions will get new outfits. The skin series originates from a story in a parallel universe, where a group of high school students decide to become cosmic protectors and guard the universe against its enemies.

After the first five Star Guardian skins were released in 2017, more were added over time. Alongside Ahri, Ezreal, Miss Fortune, Syndra, and Soraka, Rakan, Xayah, Neeko, Zoe, Janna, Jinx, Lulu, Lux, and Poppy became Star Guardians. The heroes joining the defence of stars have now been announced in a new video.

These champs will get new Star Guardian skins

In the first teaser from June 20, there were no concrete indications as to which champions will appear in the new guise. Except for a female character with long pink hair at the end of the video, no hero was shown in the anime-like video at all. The focus was on inanimate places, such as school grounds, a teen bedroom and empty streets of a town.

However, Riot’s brand new teaser finally brings some light into the darkness. It shows us — again in anime style — a high school scene with champions Seraphine and Xayah, among others. Scrolling through the social media feed on a mobile phone, we are already shown the Star Guardians.

Based on the video, these heroes will get new skins from the Star Guardian series:

2. Sona
3. Ekko 
4. Fiddlesticks
5. Nilah
6. Rell
7. Taliyah
8. Akali

More Star Guardian skins?

The teaser also shows scenes from Wild Rift that also feature Star Guardian skins. Among them are Orianna, Senna and Seraphine. It’s likely that these skins will be limited to Wild Rift, but we’ll have to wait to see if that’s true. There are also rumours about new skins for Morgana and Quinn. Maybe Xayah and Rakan could also get new skins and would then no longer be “corrupt star guardians” but “redeemed”.

Riot has also released an official event trailer, in which a character on television watches  “Breaking News” updates on the Star Guardian series and flips through the channels at an increasing rate. Here we also see the new skins for Morgana, Quinn and Rell.

In two days we will find out what is really true about the rumors and what is still in the distant future. Until then, let’s scrape together our Riot Points and save Summoner’s Rift from cosmic dangers.
