With a slim frame and a great rate of fire, the BAS-P became a favorite for entry fraggers due to its fast fire rate that allowed for clearing rooms and CQB engagements.
While it is currently outside of the absolute meta range, the BAS-P can be great for close quarters especially in the hands of a skilled soldier in Resurgence. We tested it with these updated attachments and found this build to work!
MUZZLE: Sonic Suppressor S (unlocked by leveling the WSP-9 at Level 24)
The SMG version of the Sonic Suppressor functions very much like its bigger brothers by greatly increasing bullet velocity and adding a small damage range increase, allowing you to engage enemies at better distances.
AMMUNITION: 9mm High Grain Rounds (unlocked by leveling up the AMR9 to Level 29)
Longer range engagements are made viable with this ammunition upgrade, which can take the place of a barrel. With a minimal recoil penalty, the High Grain Rounds can help you have more consistent damage and bullet velocity for the BAS-P.
OPTIC: Cronen INTLAS MSP-12 (unlocked at the Arsenal Store)
This multi-purpose blue dot sight helps in ensuring good aiming stability, faster response times, and better sprint-to-fire speeds while having both a clear sight picture and an integrated laser attachment for better aiming.
UNDERBARREL: Bruen Tactical Vertical Grip (unlocked by leveling the MCW to Level 9)
This grip helps capitalize on the potential of the Rival-9 to become a hip fire beast by stabilizing the weapon’s gun kick and also reducing a bit of the hipfire spread.
MAGAZINE: 50 Round Drum
The 50 round drum is what makes the BAS-P an absolute weapon – by allowing you to expend 9mm rounds with a high fire rate. Make sure you grind this attachment early on to allow you to spam more rounds and win gunfights at different ranges as the 30 round stock magazine is just too small to keep up with its damage potential.

MUZZLE: ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash Hider (unlocked by leveling the HRM-9 to Level 6)
The best muzzle attachment for recoil control, the ZEHMN35 compensator helps in increasing firing aim stability and reducing recoil kick, with an added benefit of neutralizing tracers as the attachment is a flash hider.
These attachments can help you utilize the power of the BAS-P, allowing you to have a weapon viable for powerful close quarter combat!
