The Brazilian organization Fluxo has acquired Romeu “zevy” Rocco, Henrique “t9rnay” Menacho and Vinicios “PKL” Coelho to complete their Counter-Strike lineup.

Fluxo has acquired the services of zevy, PKL, and t9rnay from paiN Gaming and Red Candice, respectively, to complete their lineup before the release of CS2. Fluxo benched Allan “history” Lawrenz, Joo “felps” Vasconcellos, and Adriano “WOOD7” Cerato to make way for the recruits.  Meanwhile, Lucas “lux” Meneghini, who has been listed on the lineup’s inactive roster since the year’s beginning, received an official farewell from the organization and planning to join paiN soon. Also, the organization promoted Argentine analyst Joaquin “lokomotioN” Abasolo to head coach of the team.

PKL, zevy, and t9rnay complete Fluxo’s offseason overhaul

PKL joins Fluxo from paiN following a 53-month stint with the group, which he started in February 2019 with Rodrigo “biguzera” Bittencourt. The team’s in-game leader had left the active roster in February, citing the necessity for a break due to personal, and health issues.

He experienced brief periods of success while playing for paiN, taking home several domestic championships in Brazil before taking home a few more trophies in North America, including the DreamHack Open 2020, the ESL Challenger League Season 41 NA, the CBCS Invitational in 2022, and the ESL Challenger Melbourne.

Zevy joined paiN in August to take the place of Gabriel “nython” Lino and after just under a year with the team he established himself as one of the top AWPers in South America, averaging a 1.14 rating. The 22-year-old had a significant role in paiN’s success, as evidenced by his 1.21-rated performance at the BLAST.tv Paris Major Americas.

The final member of Fluxo’s lineup is T9rnay, who has consistently been the top fragger for RED Canids and averaged a 1.18 rating for the Brazilian team in 2023. Together with Vinicius “vsm” Moreira and Lucas “Lucaozy” Neves, the team’s lone holdovers from the previous lineup, the three new additions will make their debut at the IEM Sydney 2023 Open Qualifier.

Zevy, PKL, and Gabriel “NEKIZ” Schenato’s moves to Fluxo and 00NATION, respectively, have left paiN Gaming with just one player remaining in its CS:GO squad, which peaked at #13 in the world rankings in April. According to recent reports from Dust2.com.br, Kaue “kauez” Kaschuk and Cássio “cass1n” Santos, along with Fluxo’s lux, will round out paiN’s roster.
