EHOME Loses old eLeVeN in the Roster Shuffle

This player is just 24 years old and has already achieved a lot of important results with 4 different teams, all of them from China: EHOME, PSG.LGD, Keen Gaming, and Vici Gaming. This is clearly a highly attractive player for every Dota 2 organization that’s operating in the region. I this article, I will take a closer look at his career and analyze EHOME’s situation after their loss.

Who Is old eLeVeN

His earliest important results date back to 2015. His excellent performance allowed EHOME, his team at the time, to finish 4^th in The Frankfurt Major. The team lost to OG in that tournament, a team that was ultimately going to win it. This successful contract with EHOME culminated with a 5^th – 6^th place at The International 2016.

old eLeVeN’s next step was to move to LGD (now PSG.LGD). With this team, he only got two important results: 1^st place at Mars Dota2 League 2017 and 4^th place at The International 2017. Once again, his team lost to an opponent that was going to win the trophy, namely Team Liquid.

Once again, old eLeVeN moved to another team, this time Vici Gaming. With this organization, he finished 2^nd in several tournaments and never won something important. He left after just one season and transferred to Keen Gaming. Apart from several tournaments, in which it finished 1^st or 2^nd, KG had a poor season and old eLeVeN left once again after a single year spent at the club.

Then came a dark year with Revive and a loan to PSG.LGD. With this second team he managed to get several notable results in 2020, but not much. Of course, this was also the year when the global crisis started and almost everything got canceled.

EHOME’s Situation

With old eLeVeN gone, EHOME will need to continue with the roster it had prior to his loan to PSG.LGD. He’s now been transferred to Vici Gaming, but EHOME doesn’t seem to care very much. Perhaps in their valuation, the player wasn’t that good to begin with. Or perhaps they got a really good offer from a rival that had just lost two key players.

EHOME has been operating with the same roster for close to a year. Their results in 2019 – 2020 do include some significant trophies, such as the one they got at DPL-CDA Professional League Season 2. Moving forward, this team has minimal chances of succeeding in China. And if they fail here, they don’t get to do much else. The competition is really strong and it will almost certainly prove to be more skilled than this EHOME roster, which seems to be lacking something. It’s hard to say what, but they’re definitely lacking something. The captain, y`, seems to be alright. After all, he’s a TI winner with Wings Gaming. But the rest of the crew is not as strong as it should be. At least not for China.
