Dota 2 Patch 7.30 Hero Changes

Dota 2 patch 7.30 is rapidly changing the meta and in this article, I will take a look at some of the most important hero changes that have led to the transformations we are witnessing.

Dota 2 Patch 7.30 Hero Changes

Dota 2 patch 7.30 has changed almost every hero in the game. But some of these changes have led to significant differences in pick rates and win rates. However, not all of them.

Luna

Luna was nerfed in multiple ways and people still pick her very often. She seems to be the go-to carry when you have no idea what would work best. Her ability to quickly farm the jungle and clear the waves seems to be completely overpowered in the current state of the game, which heavily relies on neutral creeps and stacking.

A hero like Luna, left unchecked, will outfarm almost every other carry in the game. And that’s why people pick her. She just starts to farm efficiently at a low level and can do her thing without much babysitting from her team. The 15-minute mark comes and she’s already thousands of gold ahead of the enemy carry.

Lich

Lich has received some important buffs and people are picking him quite often. But so far, most of them have not found a way to make him work.

Frost Blast now costs 5 mana less. Sinister Gaze has a much better cast range: 600 at level 1. Plus its mana cost has been reduced to 80! The initial Chain Frost projectile now travels at 1050 speed instead of 850. This gives it a stronger element of surprise. Another big change was the level 15 talent. Thanks to it, Lich can now have a 2.8s stun, which is incredibly good.

Leshrac

Leshrac is now viable again. His Diabolic Edict deals pure damage. So the tanky offlaners can no longer fight into him. Another big change is the level 10 talent: +1.75 mana regen instead of +4 armor.

Expect to see a lot more Leshracs in your pubs as a result of these changes.
