DPC EEU 2023 Tour 3: Division I partial results

In Eastern Europe’s Division I, Tour 3 of Dota Pro Circuit 2023 started without any upsets. The best three teams, 9Pandas, BetBoom Team, and Team Spirit won all of their matches. The only difference is that one of them played three matches, one played two, and the third played only one.

So far, 9Pandas have demonstrated a very high level of skill, thanks in part to Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev and Alexey “Solo” Berezin, whose knowledge of the game easily puts him in the top 10 Dota 2 captains of all time.

Results

In the case of BetBoom, it’s clear that the team is becoming stronger with every new Tour. The only problem is that when they go to Majors, they somehow manage to mess up so badly that they don’t even get any qualification points for The International.

Right now, BetBoom are struggling to secure a top 12 spot in DPC’s rankings. It looks like they will barely make it but only if they can get a top three result regionally and then a top eight result at the Bali Major.

Another option for them would be to win regionally. But that is not going to be easy, as both Spirit and 9Pandas are quite strong at the moment.

In the case of 9Pandas, they tend to lose games while testing various drafts. But their strength lies in their ability to adapt on the fly to what the opponent is doing. There are plenty of teams in Dota 2 that don’t win all of their games, even when their opponents are weak. But they do win when it matters.

At the recent Berlin Major, 9Pandas won and they did it with a stand-in. To be fair, that stand-in was Vladimir “RodjER” Nikogosian, a player who is regarded as a formidable position four player. But even so, 9Pandas did a fantastic job.

Some of the teams are already doomed. Others still have great chances of getting a good result, but they’ll need to beat at least one of the favorites.
