Fragster reveals CCT West Europe Series #3 Group Stage line-up

The Play-In phase of the CCT West Europe Series #3 has long been resolved, and after a short spring break, Fragster is back with the Group Stage CCT action! Here’s what to expect from the Series 3 Group Stage!

As usual, the Group Stage will see 16 CS:GO teams battling it out for a chance to advance to playoffs and to increase their chances of earning a chunk of the $50,000 prize pool. In addition, the winners will also claim a spot at the $200,000 Online Final.

The Group Stage kicks off this Thursday, April 20, so make sure to prepare for another portion of the thrilling CS:GO experience!

Qualified teams

Thanks to their remarkable victories in Series 3 Play-In Deciders in early April, four teams have advanced to the Group Stage:

• Arcadia
• Zero Tenacity
• BIG Academy

Invited teams

The four qualified squads will be joined by the following 12 teams who received a direct invite to the Series 3 Group Stage:

• ex-partizan
• Make Your Destiny
• Endpoint
• Coalesce
• LDLC
• EYEBALLERS
• Viperio
• HAVU
• Nexus
• Sangal
• Let us cook

Format & Schedule

Just like in the previous edition of the CCT West Europe Series, the Group Stage of Series 3 will be played in classic Swiss format, with the top eight teams advancing to the Playoffs. All matches will be the best-of-three series.

The competition will run every day from Thursday, April 20 until April 28, with four matches scheduled to be played daily, starting at 11 AM CEST and concluding with the last game at 8 PM CEST.

Here’s the matchup schedule for the first two days:

April 20

• 11 AM CET: HEET vs. Zero Tenacity
• 2 PM CET: LDLC vs.Arcadia
• 5 PM CET: HAVU vs. Nexus
• 8 PM CET: BIG Academy vs. Coalesce

April 21

• 11 AM CET: Endpoint vs. Nakama
• 2 PM CET: EYEBALLERS vs. Viperio
• 5 PM CET: ex-partizan vs. Make Your Destiny
• 8 PM CET: Sangal vs. Let us cook

Once the Group Phase concludes and the eight advancing teams have been determined, they will be joined by another eight invited teams in the Playoffs to battle for a share of the $50,000 prize pool. The Playoff phase is scheduled to kick off on Monday, May 1, while the names of the Series 3 Champions will be determined in the Grand Final scheduled for Thursday, May 4. The full Series 3 playoff line-up will be revealed after the conclusion of the Group Stage.
