What is SONIX gaming communication app?

SONIX is the fastest gaming communications system. In addition, it is arguably the lowest-latency esports communications software. The SONIX system was present at the Niner Esports Union LAN Party at UNC, the first time used in the United States after successful collaborations in Switzerland and France.

SONIX Debut

SONIX is the Swiss company in charge of developing the first very low-latency software and application; the goal is to meet professional gamers’ needs. Finally, SONIX debuted in the United States by supplying its technology at the last Niner Esports Union LAN Party at the University of North Carolina.

SONIX uses a proprietary codec to reduce latency (lag) between the source and receiver during long-distance communication. The technology was used in music to facilitate long-distance communication between artists and serve as a communication tool for gamers and other users.

Overwatch players used a beta version of the SONIX app at the UNC Charlotte competition and praised its reduced latency as a competitive advantage. SONIX is continuing to develop the app and, at this time, has not announced any new partnerships in the North American market.

“For gamers who prefer to concentrate on the game, SONIX is a fantastic alternative to audio software. It has faster connection times and higher audio quality than something like Discord, plus it is simpler.”

In turn, Gabriel Herterich also comments:

“The flawless performance of SONIX and the low latency performance were key contributors to our success. I’m excited to be able to use this new program because it will shift the playing field.”

With no latency and real-time communication, SONIX allows players to interact as if they were in the same room. Even a casual gamer can appreciate the difference in lag time reduction achieved by SONIX, which also offers superior quality and a better user experience than any competing technology.
