Blacklist Ultimate are winners of COD Mobile Garena Masters

The COD Mobile Garena Masters celebrated its fourth season, and the winning team was Blacklist Ultimate. The best COD Mobile Garena Masters teams were present in this tournament, where they fought for a share of the prize pool. In addition, the top four teams won one of the four spots available for this year’s Garena International.

Blacklist Ultimate win the COD Mobile Garena Masters

The Philippine team Blacklist Ultimate, the winner of the fourth edition, demonstrated their power throughout the tournament, always remaining undefeated. Moreover, they proved what they are made of in every match by winning all the COD Mobile matches.

The COD Mobile Garena Masters occurred from February 4th until March 26th; we finally saw Blacklist Ultimate crowned champions.

The format for the knockout phase was double elimination, while the grand final was played in best-of-seven matches.

Tournament Finals

The grand final was played between WPM Lowkings and Blacklist Ultimate. The first match showed how strong WPM Lowkings had been, where they managed to get a 250-124 victory; in this first match, the player who managed to cause more kills was Klo, who got 32 in total.

WPM Lowkings’ streak continued in the second match, where they were also superior to Blacklist Ultimate; in this match, the best player was Peejay.

For the third match, Blacklist Ultimate gave their best and prevailed against their rival; in this match, the best player was Rage, who got 27 kills. After raising the spirits by winning the third match, Blacklist Ultimate continued with the streak and managed to come back, winning two matches. Thanks to these victories, Blacklist Ultimate was crowned the COD Mobile champions.

Blacklist Ultimate, with these three victories, managed to keep the title since they reached the final phase with a lead of one match won by default. This advantage is due to their victory in the final phase against the Upper Bracket team.

Also, the tournament’s best player was JaBen, who was part of the winning team. JaBen had a kills-per-game average of 19,6 and a K/D ratio of 1,87.

Tournament Team Standings and Prize Distribution

The prize purse for this fourth season was $26.5k; the winner kept $10k, second place $4.5k, and third place $3k. But that’s not all; all the teams that participated in the tournament received a cash prize.
