BcJ to join M80 for VALORANT Challengers 2024

BcJ to join M80 in the NA Challengers Scene

Brendan “BcJ” Jensen, one of the superstars of Evil Geniuses would be joining M80, according to a report by Max “Purest” Katz.

This comes as a big surprise in the VALORANT competitive scene, as a VCT Champions champion deciding to join a team in the Challengers scene is something no one expects. Furthermore, this rumor comes to light weeks after it was announced that former CS:GO player with Team Liquid, Nicholas “nitr0” Cannella, will also be joining M80 for the upcoming season.

Similarly, we should note that while BcJ decides to drop down to Tier 2, he would join a team favored to win every tournament this season, including VCT Ascension.

About BcJ

BcJ started his professional career with XSET in VALORANT in 2021, where he proved his worth by facing great rivals such as Cloud9, Sentinels, and 100 Thieves, thus leaving the name of NA high in international tournaments.

However, the highest point in BcJ’s XSET career was when they defeated OpTic Gaming to secure their place in VALORANT Champions 2023. However, the team ended its run in the Lower Bracket Quarterfinals of the tournament, falling to FunPlus Phoenix, eventual champions of the VCT Champions.

BcJ is a player who plays the role of Starter and has played an extremely important role in the teams he has participated in. In addition, it is also fair to mention that BcJ, along with Austin “crashies” Roberts, his former teammate in EG, are considered among the “best starters in the world.”
