Atlanta, Miami and New York remain undefeated at CDL 2024 Stage 1 Qualifiers

The first leg of the Call of Duty League 2024 Stage 1 Qualifiers is over, with the action returning after three weeks on January 13. So far some teams have dominated the league, while others have struggled to find their footing. Teams like Atlanta FaZe,  Miami Heretics, and New York Subliners delivered exceptional performances and remain undefeated so far after playing three matches.

On the other hand,  Toronto Ultra and Seattle Surge, have managed to secure two victories each, while  Minnesota RØKKR and Los Angeles Thieves have already conceded three defeats this season. Here are the complete results of the first leg of the CDL 2024 Stage 1 Qualifiers

Miami Heretics, Atlanta FaZe, and New York Subliners remain undefeated at CDL 2024 

There have been three teams that have shown exceptional prowess through two weeks of play and they haven’t lost yet. Miami is currently on the top of the chart with 30 points after defeating  Las Vegas Legion, Carolina Royal Ravens, and Minnesota RØKKR. This team’s dominance can be attributed to the fact that it has only faced comparatively weak opponents so far. The upcoming match between Optic Texas and the team on January 20 will soon clarify if this is a fact or just speculation.

FaZe, on the other hand, had a rough start to the league when they played against Boston Breach in the opening match, While the match went down to the wire, taking all five maps to decide the winner, it was FaZe who eventually emerged victorious of the intense match. The team never looked back after that win, thrashing Los Angeles Thieves 3-0 before defeating Seattle Surge 3-1 to remain undefeated.

New York Subliner also had a similar start to the event, fighting till the last map against Optic to secure their first victory with a 3-2 record. With a tough opening game win, the team expected an easy match when they played the second game, but Los Angeles Guerrillas took no time spoiling their fun and took the match to the end. NYSL eventually won the map 3-2 and carrying that momentum, the team finally secured their first clean sweep after defeating Las Vegas Legion 3-0.
