The VCT Game Changers EMEA Series 3 is history, and the BBL Queens girls managed to lift the championship trophy undefeated in the tournament. In addition, it is worth mentioning that BBL Queens beat the Acend Rising girls 3-1 in the Grand Final.
There is no doubt that this is a really interesting fact, considering the great competitiveness in the Game Changers scene in Europe. Likewise, BBL Queens did not let up at any time, and their level of play remained at the top.
On the other hand, Acend Rising had a very good tournament but had to make their way to the Lower Bracket after unexpectedly losing to Falcons Vega in the Upper Bracket semifinals 1-2.
BBL Queens’ Road in the VCT Game Changers EMEA Series 3
As mentioned, BBL Queens won undefeated this third VCT GC EMEA Split. However, their road was not so easy.
Although they finished with an excellent record of 7-0 in the Group Stage, they had to face high-caliber opponents such as Falcons Vega, G2 Gozen, and Guild X. However, the girls were victorious in all the heats, losing only 2 maps in this phase.
The BBL Queens girls secured a playoff start in the Upper Bracket semifinals thanks to their perfect record and first place in Group A. In that match, they took on NASR Ignite and earned a reverse sweep victory to advance to the UB finals.
Finally, BBL Queens displayed their full potential against Falcons Vega to beat them 2-0 and secure their qualification to the Grand Final.
