One of the more flexible SMG choices in the game, the FSS Hurricane is based off of the AR-57, a 5.7mm conversion marrying an M16/M4-chassis with the mechanism and magazine of the FN P90.

One of two SMGs using the 5.7mm caliber rounds, the slower-firing but harder-hitting FSS Hurricane is available as floor loot in some areas of the mobile version of Verdansk. 

While it is currently outside of the absolute meta range, the FSS Hurricane can be great for close quarters in the hands of a skilled soldier. We tested it out with new attachments from the Modern Warfare III era and found this build to work!

 

REAR GRIP: Sakin-ZX Grip (unlocked by leveling the M4 to Level 8)

This rear grip allows for better handling and recoil control, allowing you to take advantage of the FSS Hurricane ’s stable and easy-to-control firepower. Added tip: this has no ADS or sprint-to-fire penalties, so this can make controlling the weapon easier!

MUZZLE: Sonic Suppressor (unlocked by leveling up the Holger 556 to Level 16)

One of the more popular suppressor choices in the game, the Sonic Suppressor balances bullet velocity with a damage range buff This allows you to have quieter shots with accuracy and ease of use.

OPTIC: Cronen INTLAS MSP-12 (unlocked at the Arsenal Store)

This multi-purpose blue dot sight helps in ensuring good aiming stability, faster response times, and better sprint-to-fire speeds while having both a clear sight picture and an integrated laser attachment for better aiming.

STOCK: JAK Cutthroat (unlocked at the Arsenal Store)

This stock allows for faster overall movement and aim walking speeds, making sure you can use your FSS Hurricane to its full potential on the move.

UNDERBARREL: Bruen Tactical Vertical Grip (unlocked by leveling the MCW to Level 9)

This grip helps capitalize on the potential of the FSS Hurricane to become a hip fire beast by stabilizing the weapon’s gun kick and also reducing a bit of the hipfire spread.

OPTIC: Slate Reflector or Mk3 Reflector [to replace laser] 

In place of a laser, the Slate Reflector or Mk3 Reflector can help Vaznev-9K users focusing on ADS to have a much clearer sight picture and lesser visual recoil. This can help for faster and more precise target acquisition, especially in those crucial final zones.

LASER: FTAC Grimline Laser (unlocked by leveling the TAQ-V to Level 5 or the DG-56 to Level 10)

The FTAC Grimline Laser ensures that your Vaznev-9K can have a faster sprint to fire speed while also controlling both hip recoil and spread.

These attachments can help you utilize the power of the FSS Hurricane’s 5.7mm rounds, allowing you to have a weapon viable for close quarter combat!
