Rumors continue about the renewal of the Brazilian CS:GO squad, FURIA Esports lineup. After the latest statements of one of its stars, Yuri “yuurih” Boian, it seems that Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo could be closer than ever to signing for the team.

Rumors about FalleN’s possible signing with FURIA have been going strong for several weeks. However, neither the player nor the Brazilian organization have given any official statement, except they have had some “conversations” in previous days.

Likewise, nothing has been confirmed yet, but apparently, yuurih approved the signing of the Brazilian legend for his team.

Yuurih would be happy to play with FalleN in FURIA

For several days now, there has been talk that FalleN is in talks with FURIA to finalize his signing for the second half of 2023 and the next season. The Brazilian organization wants the 32-year-old IGL to help them in the imminent transition to Counter-Strike 2 that they must make in a few months.

One of FURIA’s superstars, yuurih, was streaming from his Twitch account last June 15, and one of his fans asked in the chat about the possible signing of FalleN with FURIA. Many players tend to ignore these questions, as their answers might generate a lot of controversy in the scene. However, yuurih did the opposite, as the Brazilian rifler said he would love to play with FalleN.

As we see and hear, yuurih looks a bit shy but excited when mentioning that it would be great if they play with FalleN in FURIA, as he considers the Brazilian AWPer and IGL to be very good. There is no doubt that this raises much more hype regarding the possible signing of FalleN by the Brazilian organization.

As we mentioned, FalleN has been in talks with FURIA recently, and this was confirmed by André Akkari, the team’s co-owner. In addition, it is also known that the Brazilian legend wants to define his future before the end of the players’ break at the end of July.

FalleN’s future

For now, the future of the 32-year-old Brazilian legend is completely uncertain; only the player knows what he wants and what he will do. Recall that FalleN has mentioned many times that he plans to retire after the end of the 2023 season, as he wants to spend more time with his family and focus on new projects. However, he can now play for paiN Gaming, who have shown much interest, for FURIA or stay in Imperial.

On the other hand, it is also worth mentioning that, in the last few hours, some reports surfaced highlighting that FURIA sent Andre “drop” Abreu to the bench, so FURIA would be searching for a new rifler for the team. Likewise, if the signing of FalleN by FURIA becomes a reality, there is no doubt that Rafael “saffee” Costa will be the one to be sacrificed.

On the other hand, it is worth mentioning that FURIA has been the best Brazilian team in the world for about four years. Although the team has always been among the top 15, they have not lifted a trophy at the highest competitive level in LAN.
