One of the most talked-about SMGs since the beginning of Season 2 in Call of Duty is the newest addition, the RAM-9 submachine gun – chambered in 9mm and based off of the Tavor X95.

It has been one of the more prominent SMGs in the game – and its potency can definitely be felt whether firing from sights or from the hip.

What are some of the best attachments for this dominant SMG? We tested it out during both the Limited Release and the current play and found this build to work!

 

UNDERBARREL: Bruen Heavy Support Grip (unlocked by leveling the Striker SMG to Level 8)

One of two greatly performing grips in Warzone Mobile, the Bruen Heavy Support Grip ensures overall horizontal recoil control and firing aim stability. The grip also does not employ any sprint-to-fire penalties, so make the most out of the grip to ensure good hits and recoil control at close range with your RAM-9. This can especially be helpful when using the RAM-9 as a sniper support secondary.

 

MUZZLE: Sonic Suppressor S (unlocked by leveling the WSP-9 at Level 24)

The SMG version of the Sonic Suppressor functions very much like its bigger brothers by greatly increasing bullet velocity and adding a small damage range increase, allowing you to engage enemies at better distances. 

 

MAGAZINE: 50 Round Mag (unlocked at Level 20)

The RAM-9’s fire rate can easily shred opponents, especially at close range. This will be problematic when you are in, say, 1v2 situations in CQB-heavy areas such as the Verdansk Airport Hangars or the buildings in Downtown. Use the 50-round mag attachment to make the most out of your RAM-9.

 

LASER: FTAC Grimline Laser (unlocked by leveling the TAQ-V to Level 5 or the DG-56 to Level 10)

The FTAC Grimline Laser ensures that your RAM-9 can have a faster sprint to fire speed while also controlling both hip recoil and spread.

AMMUNITION: 9mm High Grain Rounds (unlocked by reaching leveling up the AMR9 to Level 29)

9mm High Grain Rounds can be used to further increase the potency of your RAM-9 by adding a range and damage buff per shot, at the cost of some recoil control which the Bruen Heavy Support Grip can mitigate. This will also allow you to engage outside of the 15-20m range with some comfort.

 

OPTIONAL REPLACEMENTS:

 

OPTIC: Nydar Model 2023 or Slate Reflector [to replace Laser] 

In place of a laser, the Nydar Model 2023 or Slate Reflector can help RAM-9 users focusing on ADS to have a much clearer sight picture and lesser visual recoil. This can help for faster and more precise target acquisition, especially in those crucial final zones.
