While shotguns in Warzone Mobile may be challenging to use at first, it can become a deadly close-combat weapon when in the right hands.

So far, the most viable shotgun for use in the mobile version of Verdansk is the Lockwood 680 – a shotgun that is based off of the Remington 870 and is already unlocked from the beginning!

Here is a list of recommended attachments that we tried from the Limited Release and may work until this Global Release!

 

BARREL: Bryson Hammerforged Long Barrel (unlocked at Level 3)

This longer barrel, while lacking the magazine capacity buff of the heavier Lockwood Defender heavy barrel available for the Lockwood 680, is the best bang for this shotgun’s buckshots. It adds a little boost to movement speed while also reducing the aiming idle sway and ADS time, perfect for those close-range quick hits.

MUZZLE: Crown Breaker Choke (unlocked at Level 18)

Undoubtedly the best option to tighten up pellets, the Crown Breaker Choke allows for a smaller scatter area especially at close ranges. With tighter pellet spreads, this may allow you to down enemies in 1-2 shots.

STOCK: Sawed-Off Mod (unlocked at Level 19)

The sawed-off modification allows for even greater flexibility and movement in tighter combat scenarios, allowing you to outmaneuver and outgun enemies fast. Use this well either when engaging head on or when repositioning against opponents.

LASER: Hipshot L20 (unlocked by leveling the PDSW 528 to Level 4)

The Hipshot L20 laser helps give the user a little boost when using the shotgun on hip-fire mode, reducing the pellet spread when firing from the hip and also aids in hip recoil control.

BOLT: Express Light Bolt (unlocked at Level 22)

The Express Light Bolt attachment allows you to re-cock the shotgun faster, giving you faster rechambering time and allowing your opponent a very little opportunity to recover.

 

OPTIONAL REPLACEMENTS:

AMMUNITION: 12 Gauge Dragon’s Breath [to replace Bolt] (unlocked by leveling up the Expedite 12 shotgun to Level 28)

While this ammo type has been recently nerfed, a well-placed Dragon’s Breath round may replace the bolt for split-second sustained damage that can, in some places, be enough to down unarmored opponents. This can be particularly deadly in modes such as Rebirth Resurgence which are close quarter battle oriented.
