Probably the most famous CS player in the world, Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyljev has spoken out about the split of Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken and the FaZe Clan. The currently inactive player shared his thoughts on the social media platform X.

Players also often maintain relationships with each other that go beyond the server. Sometimes there is antipathy, but this can also turn into sympathy later on, after all the players have a love of a particular game in common.

About s1mple

s1mple is a highly respected Ukrainian professional Counter-Strike player who has established himself as one of the greatest and most successful CS:GO players of all time. He has received numerous awards, including a record 21 HLTV MVP medals, a Major title and an Intel Grand Slam trophy. In addition to these achievements, he was crowned the best player of 2018, 2021 and 2022 and finished runner-up in 2019 and 2020.

s1mple has been playing for Team Natus Vincere since 2016 and has celebrated more success with the team than almost any other player with his organization. Despite his outstanding performances, he was dropped to the bench this year. In addition, s1mple caused a stir in October 2022 when he announced that he would be taking a break from competition to focus on himself for the time being.

s1mple wishes Twistzz good luck on social media

On Twitter, now X, the Ukrainian star player wrote: “No matter what happens in your life, inside and especially outside the game, you are one of the best players in the world – not just Rifler, but player. I remember when I didn’t like you, but you proved me wrong, good luck and I’ll see you on the server soon.”

The 24-year-old twistzz responded on social media with, “When you come back, I look forward to the future games.”

s1mple didn’t elaborate on why he didn’t like Twistzz before. Twistzz was one of the players who prevented s1mple from winning his second major at PGL Antwerp when FaZe Clan won the final 2-0.

Perhaps the young Twistzz was a thorn in his side, because even though s1mple is considered the absolute GOAT, Twistzz also has plenty of talent and has the potential to challenge the star for his position at some point.

FaZe Clan are currently at the top of the CS, yet Twistzz was the first to leave the team. There are rumors that he will join Team Liquid, but this has not been confirmed yet.It is still unclear who will replace Twistzz at FaZe.

FaZe’s current line-up without Twistzz is as follows:

Robin “ropz” Kool
Helvijs “broky” Saukants
Finn “karrigan” Andersen
Håvard “rain” Nygaard
