The 2023 offseason of the League of Legends competitive scene has not yet started, as Worlds 2023 is still underway. However, this does not detract from the fact that teams are looking for and securing the pieces to build a solid squad for next season.

This time, we go to France with one of the most popular esports organizations in this country, Karmine Corp. According to several reports, KCorp has reportedly agreed to sign Vladimiros “Vladi” Kourtidis for the 2024 LFL season.

Recall that KCorp will have two squads next season, one to play in the LEC after buying the Astralis spot and another in the LFL, the French regional league. As a result, the team has several empty positions to build two solid and powerful squads.

Reports claim KCorp will sign Vladi for its LFL team

According to a report from Alejandro “anonimotum” Gomis at Sheep Esports, KCorp is reportedly close to closing the signing of Vladi for its LFL team for next season.

In addition to Vladi, some reports claim that KCorp also had its eye on players such as Anselmi “Simpli” Rintanen, Tolga “Serin” Ölmez, and Kamiloo. However, all indications are that they decided on the 18-year-old Greek.

About Vladi

Vladi may not be well recognized in the League of Legends competitive scene, as he has never played at the highest level. However, he is an extremely important and outstanding player in the ERL, so he has caught the attention of many teams across the EMEA region. The Spanish organization, Giants, also showed interest in the Greek, but he joined KCorp to play in the LFL.

On the other hand, Vladi is not the only player on KCorp’s radar for its Academy team. Recently, it was also reported that the organization had agreed to sign Volodymyr “Maynter” Sorokin, who would be the team’s new Top Laner. So far, these are the only two names that have sounded in recent days around Karmine Corp.

During his professional career, Vladi has played in Tier 2 and 3 teams such as Nativz, WLGaming Esports and Riddle Esports. However, his best year was 2023, where he led Nativz to win the NLC Summer 2023.

Now, we can only wait for KCorp to confirm or deny this news. However, everything indicates that it will become a reality in the coming days.
