Loud dominates Evil Geniuses
In the final match of the day, the top-ranked team on the points table, LOUD, faced off against Evil Geniuses. It was a crucial match for EG, who had suffered a tough loss to FURIA just a few days prior. However, LOUD proved to be a formidable opponent, and although EG managed to secure a map, they ultimately fell short. The match was not without its highlights, including a devastating 13-0 round sweep that will surely haunt EG for some time.

Although it was a map pick of LOUD but EG end up dominating the match from the start. The half-time ended at 9-3. But they assumed the curse scoreline didn’t work in follow-up rounds as EG sweeps every round post half time and finishes the map with a dominating 13-3 score.

After a relatively one-sided first map, Haven turns out to be a much closer contest. The first half ended with a scoreline of 8-4, with both teams battling fiercely for every round. EG showed some resilience in the second half, winning six out of seven rounds to bring the match to a tie. However, LOUD proved too strong in the end, winning four rounds in a row to secure the map with a final score of 13-10. With the overall score tied at 1-1, all eyes were on the upcoming decider.

The third map proved to be a complete domination from LOUD, who swept EG with an impressive score of 13-0. There were several instances where LOUD pulled off clutch plays to keep EG on the back foot throughout the match. With this win, LOUD secured a 2-1 victory and an impressive five wins in the league without conceding a single match. The final scoreline will no doubt haunt EG in upcoming matches, but they will have to regroup and bounce back if they hope to stay competitive in the league.
